The Friends of the Forest Grove Library will hold their Fall 2011 used book sale November 14 through 19 at the Forest Grove City Library during library open hours.  Thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, and a whopping load of VHS tapes will be available at bargain prices and all proceeds go to your community library!

The sale begins Monday, November 14 at 10 a.m.  Monday is Members Only Day and only current Friends of the Library members will be admitted.  You can obtain or renew your membership at the door for as little as $5.00.

Hours for the event:  Monday, November 14 through Wednesday November 16, 10 to 8; Thursday November 17 and Friday, November 18, 10 to 5; Saturday, November 19 10 to 3.
On Saturday, shoppers may fill a grocery bag with books and other media and pay just $5.00 per bag.  Bags will be available at the door but everyone is urged to bring their own.

Friends of the Forest Grove Library have been holding used book sales, usually twice a year, since 1973.  The used book sale is the principal fund-raising activity for Friends.  Great thanks to our Sale Chair, Carol Woodford, and the many volunteers that make the sale possible.

Your donations of clean, serviceable books (no magazines, please), CDs and DVDs are welcome.  Please take them to the Forest Grove City Library, 2114 Pacific Ave., Forest Grove.

ALERT TO BOOKSELLERS:
You are welcome to the sale but please be aware that (1) most of the books in the sale have been culled for used book prices over $10 on Amazon.com and (2) while books are categorized, they are not sorted.
