Friends and Family Night at McMenamins Grand Lodge

September 20, 2011, the Forest Grove Library Foundation will work in collaboration with McMenamins Grand Lodge to coordinate a Family & Friends Night. 50% of the proceeds from Pat’s Corner between the hours of 5pm and close will be used to purchase art and furniture for the newly renovated wing of the library!

This event marks the beginning of a series of community events in the Forest Grove Library Foundation’s newest capital campaign entitled The Story Unfolds. The remodel of the original section of the library provided a better space and building for library patrons, but lacked some final touches that would make it feel complete. With the completion of this new campaign, the Foundation hopes to replace dated furniture from the original 1978 building; update the children’s section, making it welcoming and stimulating to promote early childhood love of reading and learning; update the Spanish language section and add art, including a unique piece by Ed Carpenter.

Join us for great food, company and to benefit a great cause! We’ll be developing some more community events to benefit the library over the next year and would love to see you there. To receive updates on the progress of our campaign please send your email address to: contact@fglf.org
